A lot of new slide-scanning companies have sprung up recently. Competition is usually a good thing, but there are some cowboys out there, so if you are thinking of going elsewhere; get them to scan one of your slides (or negs) then send it to us for our Free Trial. You'll be able to see the difference.

We've been scanning slides since 2003 - we've got pretty good at it.

Send us your Slides and we will ...
     • Scan them into digital format.
     • Restore faded colours.
     • Remove most dust and scratch marks.
     • Examine each image and improve when necessary/possible.

We'll send you a disk that you can ...
     • Use in your DVD player to watch a slideshow on your TV.
     • Use in a computer's CD drive to view or print the images.
     • Take to a Kodak Picture Maker to print your favourite pics.

You'll need to add in $15 for postage and handling. Your slides and disk(s) will be Express-Posted back to you.

N.B. You might be able to find a cheaper quote. But before you sign up; get them to scan one of your slides and then send the same slide to us for our Free Trial. You'll see the difference - even if they claim to use the same equipment.

1. My pictures are very precious, is it safe to post them?
To date we have not had a problem with Australia Post losing or damaging items. However you can take additional precautions by sending your slides by Registered Post (or via a courier). Once you place an order on our website we know to look out for a package. If it doesn't show up within 3 working days we'll send you an email so you can get onto the post office (or courier) immediately.

There is a risk, but if you do nothing your slides and negatives will eventually turn to dust of their own accord.

2. My slides are old and faded. Are they worth scanning?
Our scanner can do an amazing job of restoring colour and removing dust and scratch marks. It hasn't happened yet but if you send us a batch that is beyond help we will return them and only charge for the return postage.

The seven simple steps to your slides on DVD

  1. Select the slides you'd like in your slide show.
  2. Fill out our online order form.
  3. Print out the order form and include it with your slides.
  4. Post or courier your slides to us.
  5. When they arrive we'll send you an email to let you know that they are safe and sound.
  6. We'll scan your slides and create your Slide Show.
  7. We'll send you another email on the day we post your slides back.
