Obviously, to avoid any disappointment, it's important for you to be completely clear what you will receive from us.
We will, of course, return any slides or negatives that you send us. For added security and speed we will use an express post envelope.
The envelope will also contain a disk (or disks, if you have ordered multiple copies) in a plastic case. The Disk will play a slide show on your DVD player*. The slide show will consist of a series of images from your scanned slides (or negatives). Each image will remain on-screen for 5 seconds. To speed up, slow down, pause or stop the slide show you simply use the remote of your DVD player.
The disk will also contain digital images of the slides saved in JPEG format. These will have been scanned at a resolution of 900dpi and will be approximately 1200x800 pixels in size. These images can be printed - if you have a computer with a printer - or using a
Kodak Picture Maker. They will make a high quality image of 10x15cm.
*It may also play on your computer. This is not possible with all computers. It is not part of our service, merely an added bonus for those customers with the right software.
