Preparing your Slides …

You'll need to arrange your slides in the order you want them to be shown. If your slides are not Kodachrome you'll need to tell us which way is up.

Cut out a slide-sized square of paper or cardboard. Write the word "FRONT" on one side and the word "TOP" along one edge. Place this square in front of your first slide with the "TOP" edge aligned to the top of the slide.

Make sure the slides are facing forwards.

That is: when you pick up the slide the left side of the slide shows the left side of the picture. If you don't do this any writing will appear back to front, and your house will have a garage on the left instead of the right.
Photo's taken in Portrait rather than Landscape need to be rotated by 90 degrees anticlockwise. We will rotate the images back after they have been scanned.

Make sure the slides are well packed in a sturdy container that does not allow the slides to move around.

Please don't send your slides in a carousel, (or any feeder mechanism) or in sheets of slide holders. If you don't have the original boxes, put an elastic band around batches of 30-40 slides and pack them in a larger box.

Send your slides in a way that allows them to be tracked.

Although (to date) we have never had a problem with Australia Post, these slides are probably precious to you, so we would strongly recommend you send them, by courier (if that is convenient) or by Registered Post or Express Post.

Now you have your slides all ready to go, you just need to fill out our order form.
